I’m Being Squashed by the Great Pumpkin
I currently posses a pumpkin, a giant butternut squash, 2 acorn squashes, a sunshine squash, and what appears to be a confused pumpkin. I do not posses, however, even one measly idea as to what to do with them all. This is a cucurbit crisis people!!!!!
(OK…I totally just wanted to show off my years of botany study. That 2 seconds of impressing the pants of you cost me tens of thousands of dollars. Fake your awe if you must.)

I’m impressed.
Let them eat pie!
Sorry, the kiddo is studying the French Revolution and I didn’t think I could impress you with my years of watching the Great Pumpkin:)
No fake awe here, I can never remember all that botanical stuff.
I managed to make a butternut soup that was so good. The pumpkins I cooked and froze for Thanksgiving pie. The rest are still awaiting their fate.
How about some art? Thanks to the greenphonebooth.blogspot.com
When in doubt, roast, peel, and puree. You can freeze it in recipe portions for stuff like pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin soup, pumpkin risotto, pumpkin breakfast, etc.
All winter squashes are interchangeable, too. Google will lead you to tasty recipes!
